Metal Clay... is a water-based clay made of pure silver powder...water...and a non-toxic organic binder......Once the clay is dry it becomes hard like plaster......you can carve it...engrave it...file it...and sand it to a perfect finish before firing it. When torch or kiln fired, the binders burn away leaving pure 99.9% fine silver.

There are two brands of clay on the market: Art Clay Silver (ACS ) made by Aida Chemical.....and Precious Metal Clay (PMC ) made by Mitsubishi both made in the same way they can be...rolled..sculpted..stamped..filed..sanded..drilled and pre-polished all before firing, It can also be combined with a variety of media....like glass..ceramics...stones etc....it can also be enameled, great way to add color.
